How Sail works
The basics
Week is your next 7 days. Plan is your library of every task. Tick a task off to earn its points.
The Inbox
Holds tasks with no day assigned, plus anything you didn't finish that's still within its cycle. Swipe right from Today — or tap the tab — to open it, then drag a task onto any day.
Recurring tasks: Plan holds the blueprint
What you edit in Plan is the template future cycles are built from. The card on your Week board is a live copy — edit that one by tapping it in the Week view. So changing the blueprint won't rewrite a task that's already in progress.
Difficulty scaling
Miss a recurring task and it's worth more points next cycle — it scales with how many you've missed in a row. Switch it off in Settings.
Pausing one task
Open it in Plan and turn Active off. It stops appearing and stops counting misses, but keeps its history. Nothing is deleted.
Rotation groups
Cycle through variants of the same slot — Push / Pull / Legs. One member comes up each cycle, then it advances to the next.
Vacation mode
Pauses every recurring task at once. Days spent on vacation don't count toward your averages, and nothing is marked missed. One-off tasks carry on as normal.
Stats
Weekly planned is what your recurring tasks add up to. Projected is what you're on track for. Averages count completed days only — today and vacation days are left out.
Goals
Link tasks to a goal and their points build toward a reward you set.
Your data
Everything is stored on this device — nothing is uploaded. Export a backup from Settings now and then, especially before switching devices.
